John Maher has overseen the construction of an extensive array of TV commercials for the UK as well as the European market. The following list is only a selection:

In addition to feature films, TV dramas and commercials, JMFC is experienced in set construction for music promos, corporate promos and events, models and miniature sets for VFX.

On occasion, JMFC undertakes projects, which do not fall in any of the above mentioned categories. For example, the 1999 Centenary Show for Saudi Arabia’s celebrations on the one hundredth anniversary of its foundation by King Abdul Aziz al-Saud. The event was held near Riyadh under the patronage of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and its production organised by Major Sir Michael Parker, KCVO, CBE.

. . . or the construction of a children’s guest area for a private castle in the Scottish Highlands. The ‘bunk room’ has sleeping areas for up to 14 children, including individual storage areas. Whilst resembling ‘a cross between an outward-bound assault course and the crew’s quarters on a ship’ (‘Country Life’,Vol.CC No.29, July ’05), it had to be of supreme quality to satisfy the highest of standards. Finished entirely of exotic timbers, this multi-layered item of ‘furniture’ was built off-site and then re-assembled in the actual building. Access to the room was exclusively via a 3ft wide triangular window.
